Thanks to our successful fundraising campaign in November (20K on Indiegogo!!!) We were able to head into Bear Creek Studio and work with Ryan Hadlock and Taylor Carroll on our next record. Ryan produced our album and also produced The Lumineers, Brandi Carlile, Vance Joy and so many others!
Working with Ryan and Taylor was a dream come true. They're fast! Like, lightening fast and they're basically telepathic with one another.
Wesley and I put our hearts into it and the songs have come out so well.
They're really stripped back. Organic, spacious and pretty.
We did our recording in November and we're mastering in California with Gavin Lurssen. Gavin is responsible for mastering a ton of music you'll know. Here's his ridiculously impressive credit list. We're excited to add our name to that list.
The next step is artwork and then greasing the promotion wheel and getting the ball rolling on a single and getting it out there far and wide.
Right now, I'm most excited about making vinyl. This will be our first ever vinyl!
We'll get to that after we've got to promotion.
Can't wait to share the music and get on the road this summer to promote it.
