Well, gosh. Happy 2016! Can you believe how quick that crept up!
Wesley and I had a great night at Lombardi's Italian on New Years Eve playing to a packed bar and we're really excited to move into 2016 because.......
We start recording our debut album on MONDAY 4th JANUARY!!!!!!
It was months ago that we fundrasied for this album. We made a song and dance about it and then, once the fundrasier was over, we got to rehearsing.
We're finally going to be recording from the 4th to the 9th of January and making our very first album with Justin Davis in the engineering seat. He recorded my last solo album Tales from the Dodge
It's about bloody time, really. Wesley and I have played 250 shows since we started last year! We have done an incredible amount for a band with no album and we're ready to move into the next phase of our careers.
We've been rehearsing with our bass player Eric and our drummer Chris who we've really gelled with over the last few months (They are both awesome musicians and we couldn't be happier to have found them both!) and we're hoping to have some amazing guest musicians on the record too.

It's all still a work in progress and I'm leaving the technical specs up to Wesley while I hunt for a weeks worth of babysitting. Ah, the joys of being a mum and a musician!
The other thing is that we've got coming up is an awesome full band at The Tractor Tavern on January 26th. I've never played the venue before and I've always wanted to, so I'm doing my best to get the word out about the show.
